This blog will go into detail about ark housing and tools that can be crafted. This blog will also cover taming some low lvl dinosaurs to have fun with around the pvp server. This will also cover how you should make your character and what his/her stats should be aimed towards. Finally, I will cover the gear you can get and which I think is the best to wear around a pvp server.

Building you first base on ark pvp servers
A Thatch house can be your first official house in ark. I would advise building this house then replacing it with wood quickly. This hou...

These are the two major tools that help you at your starting point of playing ark. This items are consider more tools, then weapons because they don't really do good damage when trying to fight another player/human. As seen in the image the Stone Pick is best used to gather Thatch, Raw meat, and Flint. The Stone Axe/Hatchet is best used to gather Hide, Wood, and Stone. You can get Thatch from tress, Raw meat from dead dinosaurs or humans, and Flint from large or small rocks. You can gather Hide from dead dinosaurs, wood from trees, and stone from large or small rocks.

Short Character(Perks)
This is a image of ark survival creation screen. This would be a super difficult player to attack due to the height, thinness, and short arms. They would make a good player in combat at night because they would be difficult to see and if injured they could hide in a bush easily due to their height. The main reason to make your character this small is for combat and sneaking around. Someone could come out of their base and you could come behind them so easily because your short and no one expects someone to be hiding in a bush by their house. You would also want to make your character dark to they don't stick out at night if your trying to raid or sneak around a hostile player or hostile group of players.

Tek Tier!!
This is a quick video on the upcoming Tek gear. This may drop in February of 2017! Not me talking by the way and this video can be found on youtube! ENJOY:)
(My Character) My personal stats and 3 things you should level up!
This is my current character on Xbox one. I use him for raiding and trolling on other servers. My xbox one name is "IFYGITA14" and I am currently an active player on ark survival evolved. I leveled up my characters health, melee, and weight. Health allows me to take more damage when raiding or fighting tame/wild dins. Melee will help to destroy enemy player quicker or knock them out and take their materials. Weight helps me carry the loot from raids or resources when I gather them. I am currently a level 71 and infected so my stats in the image are depleted. To lose the sickness I have to either level up or make a cure, which can be hard for new players. I play on official servers 18 and in the the tribe "White Inferno". Our head leader is Teleponcho at the general rank and me at the soldier rank.
WOW! A METAL BASE
A metal base is the strongest structure on ark for a base. The image above is made out of Metal pillars, Metal ceilings, Metal railings, Metal walls, Metal door frame, and a Metal door. The metal walls and ceilings each contain 10,000hp. The foundation has 15,000hp. This base can only be damaged by explosives, Dodorex, or Titanosaur. This base needs metal ingots and cementing paste. Metal ingots have to melted down from metal, which is found on mountains in golden like rocks. Cementing paste is made in a mortar pestle using chitin/keratin and stone. You need a refinery forge, smithy, and a mortar pestle to start crafting metal items and structures. This base also has turrets for defense, generator to power the turrets and fridge. This is a good base if you want to start attacking other people and still have a pretty good defense.

A Stone Base:)
A stone base is when you should really get to establishing yourself on the game. This lets people know that you have resources you want to protect and you will fight for your land. The stone house in the picture contains Stone Walls, Wooden ramps, Stone ceilings, Stone railings, Stone foundations, and Stone window frames. The walls contain 10,000hp, the ceilings contains 10,000hp, and the foundations contain 15,000hp. This base is a smarter approach to the game because not many dinosaurs can tear down stones and the ones that can are very difficult to tame. This base can be broken into with metal tools but you would have to hit that area roughly around 5,000 times depending on the area. The stone door only has 6,000hp so you would have to hit it around 2,000 times with a metal weapon. You also have to take in mind that metal weapons do break and some are difficult to repair depending on your resources. This base would stick out on the map due to its size and the amount of surrounding trees that are torn down. You are more likely to get raided with a stone base, but more likely able to defend it depending on your weapons and tools inside your base.
Building a wooden base
The wooden House should be your second house you establish on ark. This wooden house in the image appears to have wooden foundations, Wooden ceilings, Wooden sloped ceilings, Wooden sloped walls, Wooden ramps, Wooden pillars, Wooden window frame, Reinforced dinosaur gates, Wooden railings, and a Stone dinosaur gateway frame. The wooden walls have 10,000hp, the Wooden foundations have 15,000hp and the ceilings have 10,000hp. This is better than a thatch house because it can't be broken into with just primitive items such as the Pickaxe and axe. You would have to craft metal weapons to break into a base like this or tame a dinosaur that can tear down wood easily. A good dinosaur that can tear down wood easy and is easy to tame is a trike. I would advise trying to get this house to stone quickly because people will tear through your wooden house with metal tools or they will bring a trike over to tear down your walls to raid you. The materials to build this house includes a ton of wood, average amount of thatch, and a minimal amount of fiber.
